Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how StudyOS collects, uses and protects account, study, contribution and community information. It is written for students using StudyOS for insurance exam revision.

1. Information we collect

StudyOS may collect your name, email address, phone number, account status, login-related information, module progress, mock attempt results, forum posts, answers, helpful votes, contribution uploads, screenshots, reports and admin review notes.

If you upload notes, mock questions, screenshots or other files, those files are stored for admin review. Uploaded files are treated as private contribution material and are not automatically shown to other students.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to manage login access, approve student accounts, provide study modules, save mock attempts, review contributions, operate the Ask Other Students forum, prevent spam, award or reverse contribution points, and respond to reports or support requests.

Admin users may review activity when checking contribution quality, suspected point farming, spam, copyrighted uploads, offensive content, or account misuse.

3. Uploaded material and source files

Raw textbooks, source PDFs, internal mock papers, screenshots of source material and student-uploaded files must remain private. StudyOS does not allow students to download raw admin source files.

Useful ideas from uploaded materials may be rewritten into original curated notes, glossary entries, explanations or internal practice questions after admin review.

4. Forum and contribution points

Forum posts, answers and helpful votes may be visible to other approved students. Public-facing contribution points may reflect approved posts, useful answers, accepted answers, uploads and admin-reviewed contributions.

Spam, ads, contact-me posts, duplicated answers, low-effort replies and attempts to game the point system may receive zero points, warnings, deleted content, reversed points or account suspension.

5. Access control and storage

StudyOS uses role-based access controls. Normal students should not be able to access admin pages, admin review queues, private source files or another student’s private uploads.

Private files may be opened only through short-lived admin signed links for review. Do not share those links outside the admin review process.

6. Data retention and removal

StudyOS may retain account records, mock attempts, contribution logs, point ledgers, warnings and moderation records for operational, audit and abuse-prevention purposes.

You may request review or correction of your account information by contacting the StudyOS admin. Some records may be retained where needed for security, audit, dispute handling or legal compliance.

7. Contact

For privacy questions, account review or deletion requests, contact the StudyOS admin through the Contact page or the support channel provided inside the platform.
