Community Rules

Last updated: 14 June 2026

The Ask Other Students forum is for serious exam learning. These rules keep the forum useful and protect the contribution point system.

1. Ask useful study questions

Good questions include the module, chapter, concept, question wording, calculation step or answer choice that confused you. A useful question helps other students understand the learning problem.

Avoid vague posts like ‘help’, ‘what is this’, ‘any notes?’ or ‘PM me’. Add enough context so others can answer inside StudyOS.

2. Give useful answers

A good answer explains the concept, why the correct choice is correct, why the wrong options are wrong, and any exam keyword or trap to notice.

One-word replies, copied answers, guesses, irrelevant comments, jokes, repeated text and ‘same here’ style replies may earn zero points.

3. No spam, ads or outside contact farming

Do not post ads, recruitment messages, referral links, external group links, phone numbers, email addresses, Telegram handles, WhatsApp requests, sales messages or paid-note offers.

The forum is not a lead-generation, recruitment, sales or private-message funnel.

4. No copyrighted raw material

Do not post raw textbook pages, screenshots of paid/internal notes, leaked exam questions, internal-use papers or files you have no right to distribute.

You may ask about a concept in your own words. Admin may remove posts that expose raw source material.

5. No contribution gaming

Do not answer your own question for points, ask friends to mark useless replies helpful, repeat low-effort answers, split one answer into many small replies, or post fake questions just to farm points.

Point farming may result in zero points, reversed points, warnings, deletion or account suspension.

6. Admin action

Admins may approve, delete, warn, suspend, reverse points or mark posts as point-ineligible. Repeated attempts to bypass moderation may lead to longer suspension or account removal.
